About The Listening Booth
The Listening Booth delivers music discovery to listeners while supporting bands with airplay and revenue to artists in need. Each playlist episode host DJ RePete spins new alternative, crossing over into rock, blues, R&B, and electronica genres.
The name, Listening Booth, is a nod to the booths and listening stations of music stores past---which were used to preview music before purchasing. In this age of streaming, we aim to be a similar "try before you buy" utility by offering a handcrafted playlist, the stories behind the tracks, and easy access to purchasing music directly from artists via their Bandcamp links (if available) in show playlists.

Founded in 2005, the Listening Booth continued its legacy of music discovery with a relaunch in 2022 on Spotify.
